37. What to do and not to do when eBay decides to end your auction?

NEVER bite the hand that feeds you unless of course you want to be selling online somewhere else.

When an auction of yours gets flagged and removed, take some time to think about your possible violations – unless you already know that you did. After giving it some thought, if you feel you have been unjustly punished, then professionally reply to the “auction ended” email from eBay stating your side of the story and provide proof of your innocence if you are able.

In doing so, it helps to keep in mind that eBay gets a ton of emails in any given day so just like in any other judicial system, you need patience to deal with the back-and-forth correspondence and the waiting required thereafter.
