The fact is, buyers hate reserves regardless of the fact that sellers need them depending on what items they are selling, so keep the usage of such reserves at a minimum if you know your products will sell. By doing so, you might want to know how you can minimize potential losses by not selling something at a ridiculously low bid? The answer is quite simple, set a MINIMUM bid that is not too far away from the lowest possible price you would like to let go of your product.




On the other hand, a reserve is not at all that bad all the time. Let’s say you are selling an expensive item, it would be best to keep your potential loss at bay by appropriately using a reserve. Just keep in mind to be open about it to your potential customers because quite frankly, nobody likes playing guessing games in business.
